NEXT STOP - OLDHAM
Next stop is Oldham and we are bringing along a Deep Purple show as well courtesy of the reboot of Deepest Purple. Still no update as to when Tony Thurlow will be ready but it is getting close. This is the first time Rainbow grace the new venue but we have been onstage at the old venue on King Street so we certainly look forward to seeing some old and new faces at the gig.
TONY THURLOW UPDATE
As many of you will know Tony's health has been suffering badly for quite a while now but day by day he is improving. At the moment Kevin McGillian who is the vocalist in Sabbra Cadabra is standing in as we count the days for Tony's return. Lots of stories were flying round about what happened with the band but the only thing that is chiseled in stone is that Tony is Rainbow Rising's vocalist. .
ALAN NELSON - KEYBOARDS
We can also announce Andy Gotteri's replacement. The band are going to really miss Andy but unfortunately he was simply becoming to busy and now has the chance of bigger things with an up and coming originals band called twisted illusion. In his shoes lands Alan Nelson. Alan has depped for us once before at Winsterfest and we are highly confident you will be delighted with what you hear.
