Great To Be Back
Two notable returnees last night at The Diamond in Sutton-In-Ashfield. First was our very own Man In Black Barry Sharples who has been recovering from an operation on his archillies heel and the keyboard wizzard Tor Underseth who was covering for Andy Keys as Andy was already committed to a gig with Blackmore's Blood. Alas I was not in attendance but reports filtering back was that the gig was very well received by the faithfull Diamond crowd and the best news is that Barry made it through as he has only recently been weight bearing on his foot. Hopefully some photo's and vids will be available shortly. The setlist was as follows :-
** Kill The King **
** Man On The Silver Mountain **
(Inc Blues & Guitar/Keyboards Solo)
* Jealous Lover *
* I Surrender *
* Gates Of Babylon *
* Stone Cold *
** Mistreated **
---------------------------------------------------------
* Perfect Strangers *
** Still I’m Sad **
* Tarot Woman *
* Starstruck *
** Catch The Rainbow **
** 16th Century Greensleeves **
* Stargazer *
* A Light In The Black *
---------------------------------------------------------
* Since You’ve Been Gone *
---------------------------------------------------------
* Studio Album Version *
** Live On Stage (1976) Version **
*** Live In Munich (1977) Version ***
Pete posted a messaga on Facebook - Morning peeps :-) Having a morning brew after a cracking show with Rainbow Rising at the Diamond last night. Great turnout despite Download happening the same weekend and a massive thanks to our (not so) old partner in crime Tor Underseth for standing in for Andy on keyboards....it was a reunion of the old guard! lol :-) :-) Love and peace to y'all :-) :-)
